Discos and parties - that seems to be simply unimaginable, especially during the lockdown. We met DJ 41ISSA for a park bench talk and asked her how she imagines the future of the entertainment industry.

DJ 41ISSA

Before Corona, 41ISSA used to play DJ gigs in clubs like Robert Johnson, Säule, or, as planned, at the Melt! festival, which, as you can guess, was cancelled for 2020. 41ISSA's DJ style is characterised by bringing together tracks that can be described as non-conformist, contemporary, sophisticated, international, time-travelling and ambient. 41ISSA is also active in collectives like no shade and Live from Earth. In our conversation we talked about her personal experiences and the effects of Corona on the DJ profession and imagined what a utopian-dystopian-apocalyptic club could look like.
